Location. The Riu Cypria Maris Hotel is located on its own private beach in Paphos, Cyprus, within three kilometres of the lively and historical town centre and within 12 kilometres of the airport.
Hotel Features. The Riu Cypria Maris is a modern resort hotel surrounded by palm trees overlooking the sea. There is a large pool with separate children's pool and the health club houses a heated indoor pool and offers spa treatments and beauty services. Other amenities include a nightclub, high speed Internet access and concierge services.
The main restaurant is decorated in medieval style and serves international buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning. A taverna by the pool serves local specialities in traditional surrounds. Bars selling snacks and drinks can also be found in the lobby, by the pool and on the beach.
Activities on site include squash, water sports, tennis and volleyball. There is a multilingual entertainments team that organises various events including disco nights, Cyprus folk nights and cabaret shows. A miniclub welcomes children between the ages of 4 12 and there are babysitting services (surcharge).
Guestrooms. There are 240 air conditioned guestrooms on four floors with blue and yellow decor and Medieval style wood furniture. All rooms extend to balconies or terraces and are equipped with safes, minibars, direct dial phones with voicemail and cable television with pay movies. Children will enjoy the video game consoles that come as standard.
Expert Tip. Dining out is easy in Paphos. From Chinese to Mexican to traditional Cypriot mezes, the choice appears unlimited. However, to really get an idea of what the local food is like, head out into one of the villages, where the atmosphere as well as the cooking is truly authentic. Top tips are Kallepia, Konia or Chlorakas.

From Paphos Airport (PFO):
Distance to Riu Cypria Maris Hotel is 12 kilometres, approximately 12 minutes' drive. Taxis are available from outside the airport and cost about 15 CYP to the Riu Cypria Hotel. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Paphos resort is best explored on foot. Buses run to the island's other towns, but services are limited. The best way to explore Cyprus is by hire car.
